The novel is in the hands of the editor now. Yay! This is a huge step forward.

I had been in talks with a local photographer few months ago, but that died in it's tracks, so now I am trying once again, to find something for the cover art.

Been going back and forth between the idea of a model and just still life stuff. I know I want something that will express the feel of the story.

So that's the latest.

As I mentioned before, I was really unhappy with the direction my book was going. I had by the advice of someone else, abandoned my full length novel for what was suppose to have been a collection of short stories.
That person has been out of the picture for nearly two months now.

I am currently back working on my full length novel, with a May 1st due date. Also currently looking for an editor. The financial backing is still in place and we're going with self publishing.

The first draft of the novel is nearly finished.

Spin Cycle and Other Nightmares is on hold until after the full length novel is done. BUT it is still on the list to be released.

Things never go smooth do they?

Okay, so I have been talking to my aunt and rearranging the way things are going to go.
I'll keep you up dated but for now, just saying that the short werewolf story did get published in the OPPM last week.

So, that's done and dealt with for now.

Magazine time

Just dropping a line to let you know that I will be having my short story in a magazine shortly.
I am unsure what the release date is, but it will be within the next few weeks.
I will drop you the link and title of the magazine when I know for sure the release date.

The short story I submitted to them, is one of the ones that will be in my book. It was written as a paranormal erotic short.

Mini Bio of Me

In the early 1990's, Kimberly had her poetry published in two local newspapers (YAP Magazine and The Future) before co-founding hardcore Vamps Prods., then went on to work in Television for a short while, before having more of her poems published in Macabre Manse Best of Gothica and Beyond in 1996. Between 2004-2007, she had three paintings submitted to a local art gallery in Thunder Bay (Painted Turtle Range Gallery) She currently lives in Thunder Bay, Ontario Canada with a strong addiction for Total-Non Stop Action Wrestling.

It's becoming very real very fast.
I now have an way to get the start up cash for the book. Yay!

So, this puts more pressure on the deadline.

I have a deadline. As set by my publisher. Dec 5th 2009.
I am nearly finished the book, well okay half way. I have the first 4 short stories written, and am working on the last one.

Still have no one working on the cover. That is up in the air.

Hoping to have a Spring release date.
